The switch to the W92 data center is complete. Users may need to restart their wireless connection to ensure they receive a new IP address via DHCP.

IS&T has received reports from users having problems connecting to the wireless network. Engineers are failing the APs over to the W92 data center. This will cause disruption to the remaining connected clients for a brief period.

Engineers have rolled back the software upgrades to the tunnel endpoint clusters that were made last Friday. Initial testing shows improved performance and stability. IS&T will continue to monitor the situation. Anyone having issues connecting to the Wi-Fi network or experiencing poor performance is urged to contact the IS&T Service Desk at servicedesk@mit.edu or 617-253-1101.
