Monitoring
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has restored availability to a majority of their services.

IS&T has restored access to the MIT Atlas app, Covid Pass and Covid Access.

Note:
- The attestation requirement has been reactivated.
- Unobserved tests may now be checked in.

We are still closely monitoring AWS to identify any additional impact to MIT services.

The widespread outage for Amazon Web Services (AWS) is affecting the MIT Atlas app, COVID Pass and COVID Access. IS&T is in touch AWS and will restore services as soon as AWS is back up and stable.

Note:
- The attestation requirement has been suspended until these issues are resolved.
- Unobserved tests may not be checked in; we strongly recommend holding your swabs until they can be checked in via the app.

As more information becomes available, we will send an update.

Investigating
IS&T is aware of issues accessing the MIT Atlas app, COVID Pass and COVID Access due to a cloud vendor service outage. IS&T and the vendor are investigating to resolve the issue.
