All network switches that were damaged as a result of the power incident have been repaired or replaced. MITnet services have been restored to all buildings. If you're experiencing trouble connecting to MITnet please contact the Service Desk.

MITnet service is largely restored. A few network switches in Buildings 2, 4, 13, 18 were damaged, and are being replaced. Some power is still down in Building 18.

A number of the buildings have recovered electric power. Building 18 is still known to be down. We are still monitoring the recovery.

Due to an electric power outage, both wired and wireless MITnet service is unavailable in a number of buildings. At recent count, the following buildings appear to have been affected:
2, 4, 6, 6C, 8, 14, 18, 50, and 51
One network switch in Building 13 failed during the initial power outage, and some wireless access is down on the 4th floor of that building.
IS&T staff are monitoring systems and will assess and address any damage once power returns.
