The campus firewalls currently NAT IP traffic from systems behind the firewall to the delegated (non-IS&T managed) networks (e.g. RLE, Media Lab) as well as traffic destined to the Internet. The NAT rules pertaining to the delegated networks will be removed so that NAT will only occur when connections are made to destination systems outside of MITnet.
After the change, systems on delegated networks will see incoming connections from 10-net IP addresses instead of an IP within the NAT pool as they had seen previously.
