Monitoring - Microsoft has announced plans to disable basic authentication effective October 1, 2022. Past this date, all Exchange Online (Office 365) users at MIT will be required to use Touchstone authentication to connect to their O365 email and calendar accounts. IS&T will disable open access to the "MIT" Wi-Fi network and require devices to authenticate using a Wi-Fi password (PSK).

All users and devices should use the "MIT SECURE" Wi-Fi network when possible.

For devices that are not capable to joining the "MIT SECURE" Wi-Fi network, users can obtain a personal PSK from the Wi-Fi onboarding portal: https://wifi.mit.edu

Scheduled - The SAP production environment will be unavailable this weekend between the hours of 5:00 PM on Friday, December 2nd, and 6:00 AM on Monday, December 5th, while critical SAP system maintenance is performed. During this outage, SAP Year-End support package updates will be installed, bringing MIT’s SAP implementation up to the support package levels required for year 2023 Accounts Payable and HR/Payroll system compliance. SAP, B2P, Facilities/Work-Manager, MIT Warehouse SAP data, GAP as well as all Atlas SAP activity (including time sheet entry/approval, training, requisitioning, journal vouchers, credit card verification, events planning and service requests) will be inaccessible during this maintenance period.
